How to Estimate Number of Potential Customers?

Strategy & Planning Skills can be notoriously vague & subjective. To make them specific, we will learn 3 skills:

→ How to build a Growth Model: how do we turn the mission and vision of a business into hard goals?
→ How to build a Growth Roadmap: which specific steps will the team be taking to achieve those goals?
→ How to prioritize Growth Opportunities: how are ideas chosen, or disregarded, in pursuit of those goals?

And, to learn the 1st skill, the first of 4 'micro skills' (or skilletons) we are going to learn is: How to estimate number of potential customers?

market size estimation to revenue projection

Why this specific skilleton?
The very first step in building a Growth model is knowing its ceiling. How many customers does an internet business potentially have, helps us understand far can we extend its Growth model to.

How will we learn this?
We will go through a sequence of 7 concept cards, which will each be approximately 3-minute read. By building on top of each other, the concepts will teach us the micro skill.

To keep the learning interactive, each concept card will be immediately followed by a multiple-choice question which will quickly check our understanding of the concept. Score of all 7 questions will be available at the end of the skilleton.
